Five Important Article Writing Tips

Are you new to the article writing business? Then you might have been having some difficulties as to how you can break into the upper levels of the market. You are surely in need of articles writing tips that will make you write very fast and well. The fact is that there are no schools that teach article writing. Those who have made it to the top have relied, for the most part, on tips they received from established writers. This piece will give you five of those article writing tips.

Content is key

This is the first and most important of all article writing tips. Keep this in mind all the time. If you want to succeed, then you must pay attention to the content of your articles. If you don’t have the requisite knowledge of the topic, there are two things you can do. Either you don’t write on it at all, or research and get the information before you write. Don’t feed people with your ignorance. You will not be forgiven for that.

Give a good title to your article

The next article writing tip is about the way you title your articles. The title is what draws your readers to your writing. If the title is good, people will read. Bad repulsive titles will ruin your articles. Just imagine food covered with a dirty rag. No matter how good that food is, nobody will be willing to eat it. That is how a bad title will affect your good article. The title should be catchy and simple. It should be straight to the point. Don’t use idioms in your title.

Break your article up into small paragraphs

All professional article writers are aware of this. Don’t write articles that are made of only one or two paragraphs. The paragraphs should be small and should have, as much as possible, their own subheadings. The paragraph should be about only one idea. Don’t provide unnecessary information to make your paragraphs very long. Keep them short.

Use keywords properly

This is another important article writing tip. All articles are about certain keywords. If you want a great article, the keyword should appear in the articles enough. Don’t use the keyword too much; and don’t avoid using them all together. At least your keyword should appear once in every 100 words.

Edit and proofread your articles

This is the last article writing tips I want to talk about here. Don’t be in a hurry to post your articles. You must take time and correct your mistakes. Don’t think you will not make mistakes. We all do.
